Opening Day of Padelta Sports Park Kriens
Last Saturday, Padelta celebrated the takeover of Sports Park Kriens with an exciting opening day. Visitors enjoyed free access to all sports facilities throughout the day, including tennis, squash, badminton, and the new highlight of the park: padel.
Padelta coaches were present all day to introduce visitors to the fascinating world of padel. People of all ages tried this fast-growing sport for the first time and were thrilled. In addition to the four brand-new padel courts, the park also features four indoor tennis courts, three badminton courts, and eight squash courts.
The day included top-tier sports action, with showcase matches in each discipline. In squash, two of Switzerland’s top 20 players competed in a thrilling match. On the tennis court, young talent Brian Kriesi faced off against the experienced Raphael Lustenberger. The highlight of the day was the padel show match featuring Spanish Top 100 player Aitor Garcia, Swiss No. 1 Till Gygax, and No. 4 Philip Orloff. The crowd was captivated by the skillful rallies and exciting plays.
For the first time under Padelta’s management, the park’s restaurant welcomed guests with delicious food and drinks, ensuring everyone was well taken care of.
The opening day was a great success, drawing numerous racket sports enthusiasts to Kriens. We are excited to continue developing the Sports Park Kriens as a vibrant center for sports, activity, and community.
Thank you to everyone who joined us – we look forward to seeing you again soon!
