Opening Padelta Chur – a complete success!

Yesterday, Saturday, we opened our newest Padelta Center in Chur. This location, in the old Merkle Hall, combines the charm of industry with the pulse of sport and features three padel courts, a trendy bar, and co-working spaces.

The day started with free try-outs for everyone. Under the guidance of our experienced Padelta coaches, the many visitors, including numerous families with children, had the opportunity to dive into the world of Padelta. The children showed great enthusiasm in getting to know this fascinating sport.

Our two center managers in Chur, Beat and Lukas, ensured throughout the day that nothing was lacking. Delicious snacks prepared with a lot of passion were continuously available to the guests.

The highlight of the afternoon was the exhibition match featuring four of the best Swiss padel players — José Blanquez, Ivan Lopez, Philipp Orloff, and Till Gygax. The match impressively showcased what this sport has to offer and the high level already achieved in Switzerland. Before the match, Roman Michel from Tele Südostschweiz conducted an exciting interview with our CEO Yannick Moser, the Head of Sport, Jose Blanquez, and Till Gygax, a Padelta player and the number one in Switzerland.

The evening wound down in our stylish bar and lounge, where the Calanda Glatsch draft beer tap was particularly popular. It was an all-around successful opening day with many visitors. We look forward to building a vibrant Padelta community in Chur and making the sport of padel big in Graubünden.

Let’s play Padelta in Chur!
