Grand Opening: Our First Padelta Center in Bern
Last Saturday, we celebrated the grand opening of our first Padelta Center in the canton of Bern! The event took place at the former TUS in Thun, Uetendorf, where visitors had the chance to try Padel for free during an exciting open house.
Throughout the day, guests played on our five Padel courts, with our Padelta coaches offering helpful tips and tricks. A thrilling challenge also gave participants the opportunity to win fantastic prizes.
To keep everyone energized, Center Manager Sabine Wüthrich and her team treated visitors to a delicious aperitif. A special highlight of the day was the exhibition match at 1:00 PM, where our four Padelta coaches — José Blanquez, Eric Meseguer, Alvaro Chueco, and Patrick Vilaprino — showcased their impressive skills.
The event was hosted by well-known Bernese presenter Michel Schelker, whose humor and charm kept the crowd entertained. He even joined in on the action, stepping onto the court himself!
It was a fantastic day filled with great moments and exciting encounters. Now, we can’t wait to build a thriving Padelta community in Bern.
