First Padelta Venue in the Canton of Bern

We are continuing to expand and are very excited to open our eighth facility in the Bern area. The Racket Sports Center TUS in Uetendorf, near Thun, which closed at the end of September, will be operated by Padelta starting from 01.01.2025. With this acquisition, the first indoor padel facility in the Bernese Oberland will be opened, significantly strengthening racket sports in the region.

The long-established TUS Racket Sports Center has been a key player in the sports scene of the Bernese Oberland. We are delighted to continue this tradition while also bringing fresh energy to the facility. Our goal is to inspire new players to take up padel, while continuing to offer tennis and badminton.

The TUS will be newly equipped with five padel courts. In addition, four badminton courts and two tennis courts will remain, ensuring that the diverse range of racket sports will continue to thrive. The two tennis courts will be operated by the Marko Leutar Tennis School, ensuring that the tennis offering remains at a high level.

The TUS location, right next to the motorway exit, makes it especially attractive for sports enthusiasts in the region. With just a 20-minute drive from Bern Wankdorf, the facility is also easily accessible for players from the greater Bern area.
