Switzerland’s Largest Padel Tournament

The One Point Challenge Tour attracted over 500 people to the National Padel Performance Centre in Solothurn on 24 October 2026. Elias Luisoni and Joshua Zeoli claimed the tournament title and CHF 10,000 in prize money. Both finalist teams qualified for the World Final in Munich. The tournament format will return to Switzerland in 2027.

Switzerland’s Largest Padel Tournament

With 400 players from Switzerland and abroad, the One Point Challenge Tour (OPCT) became Switzerland’s largest padel tournament last Saturday. From beginners to professionals, players of all skill levels took part. Alongside the sporting competition, more than 500 people on site, a diverse entertainment programme and the first-ever live broadcast of padel on Swiss free-to-air television marked a major milestone for the sport.

The OPCT concept is simple: a single rally determines victory or defeat. Regardless of skill level, every team has a chance to beat its opponents. This unique format created thrilling encounters and unforgettable emotions both on and off the court.

Both Finalist Teams Qualify for the World Final

Elias Luisoni and Joshua Zeoli emerged victorious in the final, securing CHF 10,000 in prize money. Runners-up Antoine-Michel Alexeev and Sébastien Romero also qualified for the World Final on 19 December 2026 in Munich. Both teams will represent Switzerland at the international final, where EUR 100,000 in prize money will be at stake.

Thanks to the collaboration with CH Media, the final rounds were broadcast live on Swiss free-to-air television for the first time, airing on 3+ Adrenalin and streaming on oneplus. This television premiere represents an important step towards greater media exposure and the continued growth of padel in Switzerland.

There was plenty of action off the court as well. Music, food trucks and activations by various brand partners created a vibrant atmosphere throughout the event. Well-known personalities and content creators, including Schelker & Moser, Joel Mattli, Aditotoro and Soleroy, also participated in the tournament. The event demonstrated how sport, entertainment and brands can come together to create a unique shared experience.

One Point Challenge Tour to Continue in Switzerland in 2027

The One Point Challenge Tour was founded by Padel City Entertainment (PCE) and has developed into an international tournament format, with events held in Germany, Austria, France, the Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland. Padelta is the official OPCT licensee in Switzerland and is responsible for organising and delivering the tournament format nationwide.

Following the successful event in Solothurn, one thing is certain: the OPCT will return to Switzerland in 2027. The aim is to further develop the format and inspire even more people to discover padel.

“Our goal is to make padel accessible to everyone while bringing the sport onto the big stage. The OPCT combines exactly that: beginners and professionals compete on equal terms, while the sport reaches an ever-growing audience. The television premiere was an important milestone. And this is just the beginning.”
