José Mouliaa joins Padelta Solothurn as Head Coach
We’re thrilled to announce: José Mouliaa joins Padelta Solothurn as Head Coach starting July!
With the opening of our new Padelta location in Solothurn (Biberist), we’re not only bringing world-class facilities with eight premium padel courts – we’re also bringing international excellence to town with José Mouliaa as our Head Coach.
José hails from Lorca in the Murcia region of Spain and boasts an impressive athletic and professional background. As an active player, he reached a career-high ranking of No. 76 on the World Padel Tour and No. 69 on the Premier Padel Tour. A left-hander known for his powerful yet tactically smart playing style, José has been a fixture on the international padel circuit for years.
What truly sets him apart, however, is his extensive coaching experience. With over 15 years of coaching under his belt, Mouliaa holds dual certification (Level 1 & 2) from the Federación Española de Pádel (FEP). His coaching journey has taken him across Spain, where he has trained players of all ages and skill levels. His approach centres on passion, discipline, and a deep ability to connect with each individual. José lives and breathes padel – both as a player and a coach. “Every point is an inner battle for me,” he says. “When I win it, the roar comes from deep inside.” That energy is exactly what he’s bringing to Solothurn.
José’s coaching style is marked by positive intensity, deep game understanding, and a genuine drive to inspire people through sport. For him, one thing is clear: “Padel is so captivating because it’s social – you fall in love with it instantly.” That’s the spirit we aim to ignite in Solothurn, together with him.
With José Mouliaa, we are making a clear statement: quality and professionalism are at the heart of our mission. We’re beyond excited to welcome him to the Padelta family – and to build one of Switzerland’s leading padel centres right here in Solothurn.
