Padelta becomes part of the One Point Challenge Tour.
We are very excited to announce that Padelta is becoming an official partner of the One Point Challenge Tour (OPCT), initiated by Padel City Entertainment. With this partnership, we are joining one of the most innovative entertainment formats in international padel.
The One Point Challenge stands for maximum intensity: a single rally decides whether you move on or are eliminated. No second chances, no long matches – every point matters. Padel City successfully hosted the format twice in 2025, clearly demonstrating the huge potential of this new tournament concept.
We also have a special connection to the OPC. At one of last year’s events, our coaches José and Elias reached the final and experienced the intensity of this format up close.
In 2026, the One Point Challenge will continue as an international tour with up to eight events across Germany and Europe. The Swiss tour stop will take place on October 24, 2026 in Solothurn. In addition to the unique experience, players will compete for a prize pool of €10,000. This is a date to mark in your calendar – it will be the padel highlight of the year in Switzerland. Various activations are already planned in the lead-up to the event. More information will follow in the coming weeks.
At the end of the year, the tour will return to Germany for a major World Cup Final. The two finalists of OPCT Switzerland will qualify and compete against the best players on the tour. The OPCT World Champion will be crowned in the final. The overall winner will have the chance to win a prize of €100,000.
For us, the partnership with Padel City Entertainment is a natural next step. The OPCT combines sport, entertainment and community – values that are also at the core of Padelta. We look forward to creating new momentum in padel together.
