Looking back on 2023 – Thank you, Padelta Community

Dear Padelta Community,

Another exciting year is behind us. Our favorite sport has developed rapidly and the community of enthusiastic padel players has grown steadily. In the past 12 months, we have not only actively promoted the growth of padel, but also the development of our own brand.

As a pioneer, we created two urban pop-up locations in the city of Zurich and made padel accessible to a wide audience. Many people picked up a padel racket for the first time and the positive feedback has convinced us to offer these concepts again in 2024. In the fall of 2024, we will return to Puls 5. More exciting pop-up locations will be announced in Q1 2024.

In addition to the two temporary facilities, we opened two new permanent locations in Q4 2023. In addition to the facility in Emmen, Lucerne, our flagship in Milandia, Greifensee expands our portfolio. Both facilities offer optimal conditions for a successful padel match.

In addition to the quantitative increase from a total of 3 to 12 courts, our focus in 2023 was on the qualitative improvement of our offer. Professional training conditions are essential for promoting the development of padel, regardless of whether you are a beginner or an ambitious player. Our own academy is led by the best coaches in Switzerland. This allows our players to improve in a targeted and optimal way. We are pleased that we will be able to accompany the number 1 women, juniors, and men on their sporting journey in 2024. The 2023 Interclubs title win shows that the academy path we have chosen is the right one, and we are pleased that the best Swiss players play for Padelta.

In addition to the growth, we are proud of how our Padelta community has developed. It is great to see how padel brings people together and friendships are formed within our community beyond the playing field. What we are particularly pleased about is that more and more children and seniors are participating in our activities.

A special thank you goes to our players and partners who have accompanied us on our journey. Your support has not only made our vision possible, but has also helped to promote padel in Switzerland. In 2024, we will continue to expand our offer. In the spring of 2024, we will open the next facility in Chur, followed by the hall in Würenlingen in the summer. At the end of the year, our largest facility with 8 courts will be opened in Solothurn.
