Swiss Padel Interclub Champion 2023

Padelta won the Swiss Padel Interclub Championship on the weekend in Schaffhausen. In a thrilling final, the team led by team captain José Blanquez defeated PDL 2 – 1.

The road to the title was not easy. In the group stage, Padelta first defeated Baregg before narrowly losing to PDL. In the semifinals against Neuchâtel, Padelta showed its class and won convincingly.

The final against PDL was once again a close affair. Blanquez and Wacker won the first doubles match in straight sets. In the second doubles match, the Padelta team (Garcia/Näf) narrowly lost. In the deciding match (Orloff/Sterling), Padelta showed nerves of steel and won in three sets.

This title win is a major achievement for Padelta. In only its second season in the Swiss Padel Interclub, the team sensationally won the championship after being promoted last year.

Congratulations to the entire team!
