Till Gygax joins Padelta

Till Gygax, the current Swiss number 1, is now playing for Padelta and training at our academy.

At the Milandia location in Zurich, Padelta is launching the Competition Group under the leadership of Swiss national team coach Ivan Lopez. The best Swiss players will have the opportunity to train under optimal conditions with ambitious players and the best coaches.

“In order to promote the development of padel in Switzerland, we need professional training facilities. I am proud that Till is part of our Padelta Competition Group and that we can accompany him on his sporting journey. Together we will achieve great things,” said Ivan Lopez.

Gygax is currently the most ambitious Swiss padel player and will be focusing fully on padel in 2024. He will also be relocating part of his training to Spain. ​“I am extremely excited about the collaboration with Padelta. I see the key to realizing my sporting ambitions in this leading and dynamic company,” explains Gygax.

At Padelta, Gygax will be reunited with old friends. José Blanquez (Head of Sport Padelta) and Ivan Lopez (Center Manager Milandia) were former partners. ​“I have known Till for many years. Thanks to his meticulous work and his will, he is one of the few Swiss players to play at an international level and is the deserved current number 1 in Switzerland. We are excited to reach the next level together with Till,” said José Blanquez.
