Takeover of the Kriens and Dierikon Sports Parks
We are very happy to announce that, starting on December 1, 2024, we will be taking over the operation of the Kriens and Dierikon Sports Parks from the Migros Lucerne. This takeover is an important step in our growth strategy and will allow us to expand our padel offerings and make a significant impact on the sports scene in Central Switzerland.
“We are excited to introduce padel at the Kriens and Dierikon Sports Parks. Padel is a perfect addition to the existing sports, and visitors can look forward to a new sports experience,” says Nino Niederreiter, Co-Owner of Padelta. In addition to the current sports like tennis, badminton, and squash, seven new padel courts will be built, making these locations even more attractive.
We believe that padel is a great complement to the existing sports offerings, providing both experienced athletes and beginners with a unique and enjoyable sports experience. Through the Padelta Academy, we also offer a wide range of training programs, helping people of all ages and skill levels to learn and improve in padel. Our goal is to help our customers develop their skills efficiently while having fun.
We will continue to offer select gourmet dishes, and the event offerings at the Kriens location will be further expanded.
We are excited to take this new step together with the people of Central Switzerland and make the sports parks a place where sports, community, and the joy of movement are the main focus. The Dierikon facility will close briefly for about three weeks in early November to build the new padel courts. The Kriens location will remain open without any closures.
